Well, it's simple. You just need a little bit of patience and ability with Pen Tool.

1st - create a 500x500 (or any size you want), paste the original logo and centralize it.

2nd - resize the original logo to fill your work area.

3rd - draw the main form of the logo with Pen Tool. I draw only a half part to duplicate and to create simetry.

4th - if possible, use original shapes to work fast and clipping mask to limit some shapes to your background.

5th - try to find the font with http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/

6th - if the text is short and can be drawn, do it with Pen Tool.

If you need, I can provide the PSD file and do a video, but my english at speak is bad.
